My Streets empowers people who are homeless with accessible education and employment opportunities.

We train people who are homeless to become walking tour guides of their own city and offer these alternative tours to customers. My Streets has attracted 11,000 customers to date and we pride ourselves on the fact that we are a socially and financially sustainable business with an ability to meet operational costs with the revenue generated from tours. We move beyond charity offer sensitively designed opportunities for empowerment and real change!

My Streets runs three month training courses focused on confidence and presentation skills, creative writing, research and tour guiding and offers graduates the opportunity to become paid tour guides. We also offer alternative opportunities for employment and education through our many partners. Over 50% of graduates have progressed on to further education, employment or positive housing outcomes to date.

My Streets was established in 2014 in Drogheda, Co. Louth, moved to Dublin in October 2018 and we are currently exploring moves to additional locations nationally. Please make contact if you are interested in becoming part of the journey!
